The philosophy

• Techno-Z Salzburg was opened in June 1988 in the Salzburg suburb of Itzling. With the aim of developing a high-technology sector in the region to offer future-orientated enterprises a series of opportunities and advantages.
• Enterprises find the necessary technical infrastructure here – combined with appropriate servicing. Moreover there are various initiatives and facilities for technology transfer, appropriate training possibilities and the link to university research.
• The mutual economic location has been arranged in a “campus form” and thus makes living, working and further education in one place possible.
• The main tasks of the Salzburg Techno-Z amalgamation are infrastructure management, new infrastructure development, active network management and support in the development of an enterprise. In this way Techno-Z makes a significant contribution to the economy of the Province of Salzburg.
