Techno-Z Pfarrwerfen

The centre was opened in December 1998. The aim: The TW1 specialist channel was to be a core element for the multimedia cluster strived for in the Province of Salzburg.

The location

Geographical location
Pfarrwerfen lies at the foot of the Tennen Range and the Hochkönig immediately adjacent to the Tauern Cycle Path at altitudes of 528 to 1,500 metres, 45km to the south of the festival city of Salzburg.

Quality of life and recreation
Pfarrwerfen is small community with traditional handicrafts and numerous recuperation and recreation possibilities. Due to its central location, one can reach numerous attraction and excursion destination from Pfarrwerfen in a short time.

In winter as well as in summer one can find enjoyment in Pfarrwerfen and the surrounding area with hiking, skiing, tobogganing, ice-skating, trekking, cycling, kayaking, rafting and canyoning, angling, tennis and squash.
